The Question:

I have heard that it is not legal to have rain barrels installed in your downspouts in Laramie. Is this correct, and if so, what is the rationale?

"Rain barrels can be installed on downspouts in Laramie to collect rain water from the roof of a house. It is not prohibited by Laramie Municipal Code or Wyoming State Statute."
