The University of Wyoming Art Museum will open its doors for free on Saturday, Sept. 29, while participating in a nationwide event. Museum Day Live! is an annual event sponsored by Smithsonian magazine. Museums across the country and the state will open their doors for free for those who have tickets to the event.

Museum Day Live! tickets are free to the public. Those wishing to get tickets can go to Smithsonian.com/museumdaylive. Tickets will then be emailed to the participating email address. Tickets must then be printed for admission into the museum. Each ticket can admit up to two people into the museum.

A total of 11 museums across the state will participate in the event.

The University of Wyoming Art Museum is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event is a great way to spend a Saturday with the family, a friend or even just as a relaxing day by yourself.
