Albany county was ranked among the top counties experiencing the most GDP growth in Wyoming, according to a list released by financial technology company SmartAsset. Counties were assessed by the growth in the local GDP over a four-year span.

Albany county ranked ninth out of 10 counties, with a $6-million-dollar GDP growth and a 2.3 percent company growth in that four-year period. Other counties ranked were Laramie, Natrona and Teton counties, who came in first, second and third, respectively. Albany was listed above Lincoln County, which came in 10th.

The rankings were part of a larger study on the places with the most incoming investment in the U.S.
