A new steakhouse will be opening its doors later this month.

The Rib & Chop House, which will be located in the UW Plaza next to the Studio City movie theater, will be the fifth Wyoming location for the franchise, which is based out of Livngston, Montana and has been in operation since 2001.

The Laramie location will mark the tenth restaurant for the franchise, which also has restaurants in Cody, Sheridan, Gillette and Cheyenne.

"The Laramie Chop House is a combination of our Cheyenne and Gillette locations--we've taken our customers' favorite elements from other Chop Houses and created a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere where people can come relax, celebrate, and enjoy great food." said general manager Jeremy Baker in a press release.

The restaurant will offer traditional Rib & Chop dishes, and will offer addition lunch and gluten-free menus. Sports fans will also enjoy the new facility, with TVs that can be controlled via phone app. In addition to the food offerings, Rib & Chop will have 32 beers on tap. The building is expected to hold 240 people.

"We have a commitment to excellence, you can see it with the staff we've hired, the equipment, the kitchen, everything is top of the line" said assistant manager Greg Grisham.

The restaurant will have its public grand opening April 23.
