The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning of the possibility of wind gusts as high as 80 miles per hour Sunday night and Monday in southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle.

The office issued this weather statement Sunday morning:

Main Headline:
High Winds of 40 to 50 mph with gusts to 60 to 80 mph likely early this evening and especially on Monday. Highest wind gusts likely Monday late morning through the afternoon hours. Wind will decrease late Monday night.Main Impact:
HIGH blow over and blow off risk along Interstates 25 and 80 with difficult driving conditions.
Changes this Update:
The High Wind Watches were upgraded to High Wind Warnings and the warning area was expanded to include southern portions of the Nebraska Panhandle.
