The 71st Annual Jubilee Days is scheduled for July 2nd - July 10th, 2011. With numerous events and activities planned, all rodeo events will be at the Albany County Fair Grounds (Rodeo Schedule of Events) the fairgrounds are located on U.S. 287 all other Jubilee Days events take place in Historic Downtown Laramie. (Downtown Events). Performances this year by: The Widow Makers, Barley Getting By, Cherry Mash, Courtney Yovich, and others.

A few main events scheduled for this year include: Mr. T Calcutta,  Freedom has a Birthday (Washington Park), Carnival (goes until the 9th), Street Dances, Pancake Breakfast, Farmer's Market, 5K Fun Run, Jubilee's Day Parade (July 9th 10am) Chili Cook-Off, Brewfest, Dog Wash and much, much more! (Events)

History: Laramie Jubilee Days started in 1940 to celebrate Wyoming Statehood Day on July 10. Known as Laramie's Hometown Celebration, Laramie Jubilee Days has been a yearly event ever since. The first "Equality Days" included a fiddlers' contest, chariot races and a giant parade. The next year the event turned into a three-day celebration and became know as Laramie Jubilee Days. Over the years the event has expanded to a ten day event that includes various entertainment, downtown events, and rodeos!
