You cannot celebrate Independence Day without having a BBQ... but what if you have no choice?

We all know that this summer has been one of the hottest and driest on record, resulting in record temperatures, wildfires, and fire bans.

In Albany county, we are under red flag warnings and a fire ban, and while conditions are not bad enough to ban charcoal or propane grills, such extremes are being taken on many state parks, and on Game and Fish lands. With more hot temperatures and dry conditions on the way, it looks like we're more likely to be placed under increased restrictions before any restrictions are raised.

Despite the fire ban in Albany County, the city of Laramie is planning to hold their annual Fire in the Sky fireworks demonstration, but if conditions worsen, it is not unfathomable to consider bans on charcoal and propane grills, providing a major buzzkill to many an Independence Day party.

Should that buzzkill occur, we're curious what you would do without having a Fourth of July BBQ...
