A 57-year-old Wyoming man is dead following a crash near Rawlins Friday night.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says Patrick Cain was headed south on Cherokee Road around 9:45 p.m., when he pulled out in front of a pickup headed west on Wagon Circle Road and was broadsided.

The Patrol says the pickup was doing 50 to 70 mph in a 45 mph zone when it struck Cain's pickup.

Cain, who was not wearing his seat belt, was taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbon County where he died. Two others were reportedly injured in the crash, but the Patrol didn't say to what extent.

The Patrol says it was cloudy and overcast and road conditions were wet at the time of the crash.
